Sujeto Colectivo, Final Degree Project.
Fashion design of the clothes.
Art direction, the styling of the campaign.
This project was a study of peoples commonalities in their closets and how the fashion industry can often define our style more than our own individuality. The concept of this project was to explore how others can often define our style more than ourselves. It was an analysis of commonalities in people's closets and an experiment of style without identity. I created a blank backdrop to reflect the project and removal of character and identity.
As part of the experiment, I provided the models with a rail and asked them to pick items of clothing that they identified with most, the hypothesis being that they would identify with all items as they are all part of the everyday closet. This proved to be true.
